She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University in California and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas State University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She gained experience through working as a registered nurse for 2 years. She spent a majority of her career in a hospital setting as a medical surgical nurse. After receiving her masters degree, she worked as a clinical instructor to teach future nursing students. Shortly after, she joined Greater Austin Pain Center in 2018.
