Einstein Plumbing Denver

I have to admit, I'm tired of writing reviews but the guys at Einstein Plumbing are awesome. I purchased an old 1960's home and most of the pipes are going bad or in constant need of some type of repair.

My first experience with Einstein Plumbing was about 1.5 years ago and I've gone back to them since. I've always felt like he quoted me a fair price, and were technically capable and an all around awesome.

More importantly, they always find a way to work me into their schedule--even when I call at the last minute.

The Denver plumbers used a video camera to check for roots in our sewer line - this had been a problem two years ago. The plumber who did the work was friendly, competent, and patiently answered all my questions. I was shown the results in real time and provided a DVD, plus I was emailed an above ground image showing where the problem recurred.

We hired Einstein plumbers Denver based on great Denver post reviews. Two years ago, our sewer line backed up (ugly). The city came out and fixed it. The problem was roots in the pipes. We were told that to be safe we should have the line checked again in a couple years. We hired the Denver plumbing service to do that a few weeks ago. They understood the background and that we would need to re-involve the city if the same problem were found.

The Denver plumber service guy did the video thing - very nice guy, seemed quite competent. He found roots in the city part of the sewer line. The only way the city (Aurora Colorado) will do the work is if the Denver plumbing company files a report - I can't do this myself. Unfortunately, it turns out Einstein plumbing does not file a report with the city and they referred us to another plumbing company. By the time we sorted all this out, which required multiple phone calls, I had already paid the invoice.

Einstein plumbing agreed to refund my money, as they were unable to really complete the job - filing with the city is the only important result. The ding in the score for professionalism is that it would have been better had they (1) referred me to someone else to begin with (2) not charged me when they determined the situation (3) refunded my money without the need for follow-up phone calls. However, it has all worked out, the second company did a great job and the city is digging up the sewer line to fix it even as I type this review.

I'd like to make it extra clear that the plumber who came out to do the work was completely professional - my problem was with the office and even that was resolved satisfactorily.
