Duane P Moores, MD, Ph.D., board-certified medical oncologist at Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer Care Centers, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He has served as the primary investigator in multiple research and clinical trials particular to breast cancer. Dr Moores believes that educating patients to take an active role in their health is very important. During his tenure at the Health System, he has been the chair of the Cancer Committee, the physician liaison to the American College of Surgeons and was a major participant in the development of the Breast Care Center.
