Born and raised in Vietnam, I came to the US at the age of 19. I obtained Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with the highest honor Summa Cum Laude at Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA in 1998. Then I graduated from Medical College of Georgia, GA, USA with a Medical Doctor degree in 2002. I completed residency in Internal Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, GA in 2005. I worked as a hospitalist and later primary care staff physician at Emory Healthcare System until 2006, then became a primary care staff physician for the Atlanta VA Medical Center until 8/2021. I also have been working part time in a private primary care office in Norcorss, GA.
