Hi, I'm Dr. Melissa Carris, a licensed clinical psychologist in Grand Junction, CO. I specialize in the treatment of individuals dealing with occupational injuries (pain and/or trauma). My goals include providing support through the difficult process of negotiating a workers' compensation claim and helping patients better manage physical and emotional symptoms to improve quality of life. I utilize Mindfulness-Based, Cognitive-Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing, Somatic-Focused, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques.
