About Dinesh Kapur, MD A native of India, Dr. Kapur graduated with high honors from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi and at G.T.B. Hospital in Delhi. He then did an internal medicine residency at the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts, followed by a Hematology/ Oncology fellowship at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Kapur is the Medical Director of Oncology at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut where he is also an attending physician in Hematology, Oncology, and Internal Medicine. In addition, he is the Director of Clinical Research at ECHO Associates.
