"The relationships that I develop with patients and their families are unlike those in almost any other subspecialty and are special and treasured. I have long admired the amazing strength that cancer patients can summon, and I'm honored to be with them on their journey. I chose oncology because it enabled me to be with my patients throughout every step of their cancer journey. At the end of the day, what I enjoy most is interacting with and learning from my patients -not just about their disease but about their lives."
