Dr. Gallo is a native of Rhode Island. He is an alumnus of Providence College where he completed the honors program in preparation for his graduate studies in medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency there, he worked in community hospitals in Massachusetts before returning to Rhode Island. In 2006, he joined the psychiatric staff of Rhode Island Hospital / Lifespan where he worked for eleven years. During that time he worked in various services all throughout the department of Psychiatry, as well as promoting numerous quality initiatives within the hospital. Dr.
