Dr. Amir Azer has been fascinated with the medical field and always felt that he was destined to help patients achieve their best health. Dr. Azer began his journey at the University of Texas at Arlington where he received a B.S. in Biology. He completed his medical and podiatric studies and obtained his podiatric medical (DPM) degree at Kent University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio. Dr. Azer completed a 3-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Houston, Texas, and worked with some of the best podiatrists in Houston. During his residency, he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, forefoot surgery, trauma, and diabetic wound care.
