Dr. Amber Kavanagh is originally from Long Island, New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City before completing a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at MedStar Health Podiatric Surgery Residency Program in Washington, DC. Her residency training focused on all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including trauma,
