At first glance everything looked great. Received a call from Chad within days of my Empower Application being accepted to set up a time and day to come out and do my audit. He arrived on time did a walk through and explained everything to me... so I thought. 3-4 weeks went by and I finally received a call that my project would start 1/2/25 after starting this process on 10/30/24. 1/2 comes along and I receive a call from Chad about an hour before start time that they can't make it they be out 1/3. 1/3 comes and they are an absolute NO SHOW. Text Chad and get a text that "if they aren't here by now they won't be and he'll look into it". He calls me a short time later and tells me they are running behind and will be out 1/6. That day comes and I get a call less then an hour before start time with a list of reasons why they can't come out this week and that my new start date is 1/20. 1/20 comes and guess what? NO SHOW AGAIN. Text Chad again no answer at all this time. Call the main number which seems to be the owners cell phone, can't leave a message because VM is full. So I email the owner Joe. He calls me around 5pm and tells me they read the schedule wrong but they will definitely be out 1/21 between 9-930 to start my project. 1/21 comes.... Joe shows up about 10:30. Walks around the inside and outside. Tells me "the plan"... including work I didn't even know had to be done. After this it's about 11:15 he tells me that he and his partner have to run out but will be back "shortly" and they will at least start work in the basement today and hopefully be able to do the outside work when it warms up this week. NEVER CAME BACK, NEVER CALLED, NEVER TEXT. I called NYSERDA today 1/22 and gave them the details. Come to find out they never even put through a request for my fridge replacement, just submitted the contract I signed but never did anything else. Apparently I was also supposed to be sent a copy of this contract but was never sent that either. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! 0 stars if I could
