Doerr Insurance, formerly Renter Agency, has served the Plainview community since 1986, when Warren Renter founded the agency from his home, specializing in hail insurance for local farmers. In the 1990s, the agency expanded into Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI), and in 2001 opened a dedicated office in town. JoBeth Doerr joined the agency in 2007, helping drive growth through her expertise and customer-focused approach. After Frontier Insurance acquired the agency in 2012, Brian Ziems joined the team in 2019. In 2023, Frontier Insurance became part of INSight Partners, and the agency was rebranded as Doerr Insurance in recognition of JoBeth’s leadership.
