Dr. De Silva is board certified in Internal Medicine and Bariatric Medicine and extensively trained and certified in Aesthetic Medicine and Federal Aviation Medicine. She attended Colombo Medical School in Sri Lanka, her country of origin, earning a degree in Medicine and Surgery with Honors. She did her residency training in both Internal Medicine and General Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Following her residency, she worked in the Emergency Department at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. In 1995, Dr. De Silva established De Silva Medical Inc., her current private practice for Internal Medicine in the Antelope Valley.
