His work and research in the fields of medicine and oncology have been published in various peer-reviewed journals.Currently, his primary research interest is in the development and implementation of novel measurable residual disease assays. This work will allow clinicians to better implement targeted therapies into clinical practice for patients with resistant or residual disease following initial treatment. In addition, Dr. Chitty was instrumental in COVID-19 related research and continues to help push forward our understanding of COVID-19 disease in patients with cancer.
