He completed a transitional internship at Union Memorial Hospital, and a residency as an ophthalmologist at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Schnitzer completed his retina fellowship at McPherson Associates, Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
