Comfort U. Ughanze, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 17 years of experience in women’s health. She provides comprehensive care for women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She practices both obstetrics and gynecology and is dedicated to guiding women through all stages of hormonal and reproductive health. Ughanze has a specialized focus on menopause management and is a certified menopause practitioner through the National Menopause Society.
She’s also an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Services at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Ughanze earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her residency training at George Washington University Medical Center. She’s board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Outside of work, Ughanze is deeply rooted in her faith and community and finds time to volunteer. She is also a devoted wife and mother of three, finding purpose in both her professional calling and her family life.
