He completed his residency and electrophysiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. He also completed a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa.Dr. Williams wanted to get into medicine since he was a young kid, pointing to a family friend of his who was a physician. "I got to see him go through that journey and transition," he says. "It just reinforced it for me that it was a good way to help people."In his practice, Dr. Williams specializes in irregular heart rhythms including heart palpitations and AFib.Dr. Williams is focused on being a trusted partner for patients in their heart health care. "I know how important it is for patients to have somebody in their doctor that they can trust," he says.
