Clifford has been a PA since 1997. He served as a clinical preceptor for PA and nursing students, furthered clinical research as Principal Investigator for Psoriasis registries and educated medical professionals on dermatology-specific medications. He was a U.S. Navy Corpsman and graduated from cardiopulmonary school at the Naval Hospital, Bethesda, received his BS from the University of Maryland, and his MS as a Physician Assistant from George Washington University. Clifford is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He enjoys triathlons, exercise, travel, bonsai, and drum corps.
