Nikita Shah, M.D. is a breast surgeon for City of Hope Simi Valley outpatient cancer center and Assistant Professor in the Division of Breast Surgery. As a breast cancer doctor, she specializes in diagnosis, treatment, and breast cancer surgery. Dr. Shah is fluent in English and Gujarati. "As a breast surgeon, my responsibility is to advocate for my patients -- to ensure they are receiving the most up-to-date multidisciplinary oncology care in a compassionate manner." She has done research on the special needs of elderly breast cancer patients and published work on strategies to safely treat cancer in pregnant women.
