Dr. Christopher Shale is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Intermountain Health’s McKay-Dee Dermatology & Plastic Surgery clinic in Ogden, Utah. Dr. Shale and his wife Maggie grew up in San Diego. Dr Shale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley and went on to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia on a US Navy Scholarship. He served in the US Navy doing his surgical internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego and then served four years with a Marine Helicopter squadron deploying to Southeast Asia and Iraq. He then did General Surgery training and Plastic Surgery training at Scott & White Hospital in Texas.

He currently lives in Ogden with his wife and three daughters.
