Growing up as the first-born in an immigrant family, I learned to work hard. I chose medicine after seeing the complications a family member had with Type 1 Diabetes. This made me curious about how health issues affect our personal, work, and emotional lives. My love for exploring led me to study medicine away from my Rancho Cucamonga, California hometown. Washington's beautiful summers and outdoor activities made me stay. Now, I focus on occupational medicine and aim to be a caring and kind care partner for patients.
