Christina Gutta, MD, completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, as a member of the inaugural class, graduating in 2016.

Dr. Gutta completed her residency training in family medicine at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she served as chief resident, and then returned home to Greenville for a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Prisma Health.

Gutta serves as faculty for both sports medicine and emergency medicine, concentrating on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in the clinic. She sees patients at the Laurens County and Patewood orthopedics offices, and also serves as a team physician for Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.

Outside of work, Dr. Gutta's hobbies include hiking, kayaking, playing sand volleyball, watching college football and hanging out with her growing family and dog, Buddy.
