Carrie Friesen, MD, grew up in a family of doctors and realized medicine was her calling at a young age. She particularly enjoys pediatrics because children lighten the seriousness of medicine and make her laugh each day. Dr. Friesen most enjoys caring for newborns and infants who cannot tell her what's wrong and for adolescents who need guidance as they become independent adults. She especially loves helping kids with ADHD turn things around in school once they are diagnosed and properly treated. Outside of work, Dr. Friesen spends most of her time with her husband and three daughters. They love to play together, swim, hike, bake cookies and have tea parties. In their quiet time together they like to attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
