I am an APRN who is board certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. I have been trained in psychotherapy as well as pharmacotherapy. I specialize in treating children and adolescents who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues and have extensive experience in treating psychiatric symptoms related to trauma. After working with some of the most vulnerable children in the state, I truly understand the importance of fostering a positive relationship between client and provider. I believe in a balanced approach to treatment that includes therapy, evidenced-based use of medication when necessary, and in some cases genetic testing.
