The Capalbo family has strong ties to Rhode Island and the dental profession. Dr. P. Edward Capalbo founded the group in 1946 after serving as a dentist during World War II. He opened his practice on Canal Street in downtown Westerly in a small office space above Toscano’s Men’s Shop. In the 1970’s, his two sons Brian and Ronald joined their father and moved the practice to its current location on Granite Street. Dr. Brian’s three sons, Michael, Matthew, and Marcus, followed in the family’s tradition to become the third generation of dentists.
