After working along side his father, who was also a bench jeweler, and then for years apprenticing under some other very talented craftsmen, Calvin Smith decided to take his trade to the next level and open his own store. Calvin's Fine Jewelry opened its doors in 1997 on Far West Boulevard in a quiet neighborhood in Austin. The past 12 years have been a wonderful growing and learning experience both as an owner and craftsman. Now, with over 30 years under his belt, Calvin is still enjoying the everyday challenges this exciting trade has to offer.

Calvin's Fine Jewelry is proud to have an experienced team of jewelry sales professionals, including a GIA graduate gemologist, on staff. We work as a team, and each member of our staff is happy to answer your questions and be your personal shopper to help you find the perfect piece of jewelry.

Calvin Smith is an accomplished jeweler with thirty years of bench-work and design experience.
