Carleen “Carly” is an Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner authorized to practice autonomously in the Commonwealth of VA with over 16+ years of experience. She enjoys working with diverse individuals and approaches each patient uniquely. She believes a person knows their body and lived experience better than anyone else and thus the decision to be on psychotropic medication must be based on a strong partnership between the patient and a provider. Evidence-based care, trauma-informed care, respect, and empathy are guiding principles of Carly’s practice model.
