Dr. Ritter is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist. Her special interests include pelvic reconstructive surgery, high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive hysterectomies. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society.

Dr. Ritter was born in Miami, Florida. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
