Specifically referring to the Boardwalk apartments in Kirkland (434 Kirkland Way). These apartments seem fantastic at first glance, but unfortunately the listings/application failed to mention that the unit I was interested in had income-restrictions, even after I put in information about my monthly income which obviously would not have met that requirement. I only found out about this requirement when the leasing office contacted me saying that I would need to provide paystubs/bank statements/w-2s etc verifying my income for them. I responded with surprise, stating that I couldn't meet those unadvertised requirements and asking for my deposit and fees back, to which they replied that I could get the $350 holding deposit back but not the $45 application fee.
