Established in April of 2000, the Blackfoot Angler and Supplies, in the easy paced town of Ovando, Montana, is a small, rustic fly shop that provides all those necessary items and assists anglers in fishing the Blackfoot River and its surrounding lakes and tributaries.Owned by Travis Thurmond and Kathy Schoendoerfer, the Blackfoot Angler is located off Highway 200 between Lincoln and Clearwater Junction, and 60 miles from the metropolis of Missoula. It is situated amongst popular wade and float sites and boasts the best fly selection between Great Falls, Helena and Missoula.We sell fishing and hunting licenses, flies for all seasons, accessories, boots, waders, lines, tippets, clothing and gifts everything from bug repellent to gloves to logo'd hats and sweatshirts.
