AwesomeMath is devoted to providing enriching experiences in mathematics for intellectually curious learners. Through summer camps, publications, curriculum, and competitions AwesomeMath fosters a community that values critical thinking, creativity, passionate problem solving, and lifetime mathematical learning.

Our books are published by XYZ Press which was established in 2008 by Dr. Titu Andreescu to answer a need in the ever-growing area of competitive mathematics. After having established the AwesomeMath Summer Program in 2006, a camp designed for mathematically talented students looking beyond the standard curriculum, Dr. Andreescu recognized the increased demand for creative problem solving – not only for students in the United States, but all over the world. Students who study competition math learn problem-solving techniques that apply to a wide variety of subjects, helping to create the critical thinkers needed to solve tomorrow’s problems.

AwesomeMath Academy was founded in 2014 to give talented students the opportunity to explore mathematics, physics, and chemistry beyond the school curriculum. The focus of all our courses is problem-solving in a collaborative environment so that students can not only excel in competitions but also learn the skills necessary to excel in STEM careers.

The AwesomeMath Summer Program is an intensive three-week program for gifted students from around the globe. It is designed for bright middle and high school students who wish to hone their problem-solving skills in particular and further their mathematics education in general. Many of our participants seek to improve their performance on contests such as AMC10/12, AIME, or USAMO.

As many as 97% of our students say they would recommend our summer program to their peers. Additionally, many of these students return each summer to not only further their education but to re-connect with the friends they made.

Students interested in participating in our Summer Program must first be admitted through our application process.

Each live instructor-led course meets 5 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. All classes are recorded for students who have to miss a class or for those needing to reinforce what they are learning.

The Purple Comet! Math Meet has been fun and free since 2003!

It’s an online team-based international math competition designed for middle and high school students. The problems range in difficulty from fairly easy to extremely challenging. Compete with tens of thousands of students from nearly 60 countries.

Middle school teams have 60 minutes to work on 20 problems
High school teams have 90 minutes to work on 30 problems
Each problem has a solution that is a non-negative integer
Teams are comprised of 1 – 6 students

AwesomeMath Academy courses are designed to supplement and reinforce the training students receive through self-study or in their school competition math programs as well as helps prepare students for the rigors they will encounter in the AwesomeMath Summer Program. Each math course is designed to be taken for a minimum of two semesters in order to cover the material/topics necessary to move up to the next level course.
AwesomeMath Academy courses are designed to supplement and reinforce the training students receive through self-study or in their school competition math programs as well as helps prepare students for the rigors they will encounter in the AwesomeMath Summer Program. Each math course is designed to be taken for a minimum of two semesters in order to cover the material/topics necessary to move up to the next level course.

This allows for personal growth, and in today’s global economy, crossing borders, not just of knowledge, but geographical, is more important than ever.

Inequalities are often found in mathematics competitions but their beauty and applications go well beyond that. This book delves in elementary techniques but also powerful methods and generalizations for constrained optimization in the theory of inequalities. The 100 examples featured in the first part of the book were chosen in such a way as to contribute to a thorough exposure and insightful analysis of the concepts presented. Many of the problems presented, from introductory to advanced levels, were created by the authors and presented with multiple solutions.

This program offers mathematically gifted students the opportunity to engage in meaningful problem-solving activities and explore in detail areas in advanced mathematics. The high-quality instruction is provided by renowned lecturers and Olympiad coaches.
