Austin Evans, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida - Jacksonville. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia. Dr. Austin Evans is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Evans completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Evans specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, low-risk and high-risk obstetric care, comprehensive gynecologic care, preventative health, and cancer screening. Dr. Evans has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and robotic surgery; vaginal surgery; pelvic floor disorders; family planning; and women's health advocacy. In his spare time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his family, Georgia sports, DIY and woodworking, and reading. Dr. Evans is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
