Medicine has always been a part of Dr Iliev’s life and, as a general cardiologist, he serves people who might not otherwise have access to specialized care. Dr Iliev wants to help people maintain their quality and quantity of life by helping them manage and prevent cardiovascular disease. The ability to help people is what excites him about coming to work each day, as well as the opportunity to guide them through prevention, diagnosis and treatment while caring for them like family. “The personal and professional connections are priceless,” he explains. From a very young age, Dr Iliev observed his father, who worked as a doctor. He was inspired by how his father was able to make people feel better and give them hope.
