As a designated Level III Trauma Center, the Aspen Valley Health – Emergency Department stands ready to help in case of an emergency. Our board-certified ER physicians are available 24/7, and their expertise along with a full scope of diagnostic capabilities ensure the best care when it is needed most. There are 16 patient beds in the department, including five private exam rooms equipped with negative pressure technology to contain airborne infectious diseases, two critical care rooms and a large trauma room. A full-time hospitalist, board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, supports emergency physicians and other specialists with consultations and admissions.
