As a vascular surgeon, I treat diseases affecting the arteries and veins that carry blood to and from the heart. I treat many parts of the body and many disease processes. I do open, complex surgeries and endovascular, or minimally invasive, procedures. The treatments we can provide for our patients are changing and improving with new technologies, and that makes my career interesting. \n I follow many of my patients over the long term and enjoy developing relationships with them. I try to get to know each one as a person and make it a point to spend time listening to their concerns, as many have more than one medical problem that we are able to screen for or address.
