Amy R. Quillo, M.D., is an endocrine surgeon and surgical oncologist with Norton Cancer Institute. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she also completed her general surgery residency. Dr. Quillo completed a highly specialized endocrine surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is board certified in surgery.

Dr. Quillo is among the few surgeons in Kentucky with advanced training dedicated specifically to endocrine surgery. She has expertise in the surgical management of parathyroid disease, benign and malignant thyroid conditions, adrenal tumors and inherited endocrine disorders.

Her clinical approach centers on providing excellent surgical care for patients with endocrine tumors while guiding them through complex treatment decisions. She is dedicated to ensuring her patients experience compassionate support from diagnosis through surgery and recovery.

Dr. Quillo is a Louisville native. Outside of her surgical practice, she enjoys life in Louisville with her husband, teenage son and large extended family.
