This program is geared toward highly motivated individuals at risk of developing dementia. E.g., family members of a patient with dementia, individuals with subjective cognitive impairment, and individuals with risk factors for development of dementia. This program is not appropriate for individuals with a current diagnosis of dementia or significant cognitive impairments. A loved one of a patient with dementia can sign up for the program to learn prevention strategies to slow down the decline in the patient, hopefully. You don't have to be a clinic patient of Dr. Shah to participate in this wellness program.
