Alvaro I. Martinez, Jr., M.D., FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a cardiology fellowship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He contributes to the medical community as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and member of the American Heart Association.
