Well, John Mills and I had a handshake agreement that included price, dates, scope, and that he would do the work. He seemed honest. Then John changed the dates, the scope, and who would do the work on me. Instead of doing it himself, he contracted the work out to someone else for 50% less than what I paid him, and then he did not supervise the laborer. There were significant mistakes made that I needed to fix and I needed to do about 10 hours of cleanup after the job. I'm happy to be flexible, but he took advantage of me and was not upfront with me. When I tried to terminate the contract, he yelled and threatened me. I paid $18,500 for about 120 hours of work. I bought all the materials.

This stone veneer project was an agreement on record for 18,500. since November of 2021 that was completed to his satisfaction by experienced skilled stone masons for a fair valued price otherwise why was the payment remitted. You had 6 months to void the contract before the start up.
After waiting upon the concrete base adjustments, you were responsible for, the work was completed in a professionally skilled manner and is a very elegant attraction to your riverfront property.
The threat was professional as in "to litigate "or take to a court of law. Nothing physical.
I am sorry for your dissatisfaction but disparaging my name and business shows you do not respect or value the stone project that was successfully completed that you paid for in full.
