She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in biology in 2014. She then attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine before moving to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to complete her family medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital.

Dr. Burke is passionate about providing evidence-based preventative medicine to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two dogs.
