She chose gastroenterology because of a connection she has with some of the disorders, providing care with a personal, more unique connection. She credits her parents for their tireless work ethic and for encouraging her to further her education. She enjoys meeting people and the opportunity her position affords her to help her patients with their healthcare needs. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and hiking. She also likes to travel whenever she gets the opportunity.
