Alexandra Halitsky, MD, FAAP

Dr. Halitsky is a board-certified pediatrician who has been caring for children and families in our community for over 25 years and has been providing care at our practice since 2005. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in
Grenada, West Indies, and completed her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Dr. Halitsky previously served as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Southampton Hospital for 15 years and was the hospital’s Neonatal Liaison from 2003 to 2022. She is an
active member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center at Stony Brook since its founding and is a former board member of the Flying Point Foundation for Autism.
Her special areas of interest include neonatal and newborn medicine, as well as developmental pediatrics.
