Akron Children's Outpatient Lab, Mansfield

The Nurse Practitioner Rachel Passodelis (Dept. Cardiology -Mansfield office Trimble Rd.) was extremely Rude & Abrasive to my 16 year old Autistic daughter she was very condescending to my daughter and I . She made my daughter cry and sent her into a panic attack while she was rudely questioning my daughter and talking down to her as of mocking in her own words that my daughter "must of been slow to understanding " and advised me that she should "seek a therapist because of her Lack of communication skills" she has no BedSide manner and should seek herself a class to become more better at her commutative skills . Being in the medical field myself I know how the mannerisms should be pertained and this nurse needs to work on her "Communication" skills and empathy is a big deal in this field . She needs to be repamended for her gross conduct . This is who represents all employees and the hospital in itself . Are these the kind of people that you want affiliated with the good heart of this medical department ? she was very uncompassionate and showed no empathy as to being the reason my daughter was in tears and suffering a panic attack . Horrible work ethic. Some people just are not cut out for the medical position she was hired for . maybe she would do some good working at a prison cause the attitude would seem to fit. i would hope with the dignity of your place of employment that she will be spoken too about this situation . Thank you in advance . The best advice to protect your childs emotions I Wouldn't recommend this Nurse practitioner (Rachel Passodelis ) to anyone especially if you have a child of special needs .
