Dr. Hashmat was born and raised in Pakistan. She graduated in 1999 from Khyber Medical College, University of Peshwar, Pakistan. She completed her internship and residency at Methodist Hospital Gary in Merrillville, IN. She came to Anderson from family practice on the south side of Indianapolis.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Hashmat enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She cares for adults and children of all ages.

Dr. Hashmat enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She has three children.
