For the last several years, Ai-Chau Thi Hoang, D.O. has had the unique experience of serving veterans as their primary care physician at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach. As a result, she has gained a richer understanding of the significance of mental health and its relationship with ones health, all the while becoming more adept at treating chronic conditions. Her previous experience also includes serving diverse patient populations in the San Joaquin and Coachella Valleys.

Dr. Hoang developed an early interest in medicine. She says “I chose a career in medicine because I was inspired by my mother, who was a registered nurse working in the rehab department at the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. She was always speaking positively about her patients and the life lessons she learned from them. That was when I knew I wanted a similarly fulfilling vocation.
