I began my nursing career as a bath girl at an assisted living facility when I was 20 years old. When I was 22, I decided it was time to go to college and further my career. I went to school at NCSC to obtain my Licensed Practical Nursing degree. I began working at MedCentral hospital on an orthopedic/pediatric unit. I spent time working on the Medical Surgical floor and floating to different areas of the hospital such as the step-down units, and endoscopy as well as the urgent cares and working some in Shelby on the floor as well. I went back to Marion technical college to obtain my Registered Nurse degree through their transition program.
