Dr Leavitt completed a BS in Biopsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Michigan (UM). He graduated first in his class from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the UM, where he received recognition as a top educator of students and fellow residents. He received NIH grants for research and published several peer-reviewed articles in the fields of dermatology and plastic surgery. Dr Leavitt has an in common and complex dermatology, including acne and rosacea, skin cancer detection, cosmetic dermatology, medical and surgical hair loss treatments, and hair restoration. The lifelong UM Wolverines fan enjoys tennis, snowboarding, cooking, and movies.
