Upon completion of his residency in Radiation Oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, Dr Aaron Wolfson joined the clinical faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in July of 1989. By June of 1999, Dr Wolfson was granted tenure and subsequently awarded the rank of full Professor of Radiation Oncology in June of 2003. Dr Wolfson has served as the Study Chair of two national cooperative group randomized clinical trials under the auspices of the National Cancer Institute. In May of 2013, Dr Wolfson was selected as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology for his clinical and academic work in the field of Radiation Oncology.
