April is the founder of Head Well and a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in inpatient and outpatient settings and a wide range of populations including serious mental illness, forensic, adult and geriatric.

She believes in making things make sense and working through tough problem. Head Well was started in the hopes of doing both. After years fighting against the ineffective, inefficient bureaucracy of the public sector, she decided to build something committed to efficiency and long-term, sustainable solutions.

She is passionate about advocacy and maintaining humanity, rationality and integrity in psychiatry and social services.

Her clinical approach is integrative and functionally rooted.
