Anee decided to join our practice after working several years in the community health sector private practice, and inpatient as well. She is originally from Cary, NC and completed her bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology from North Carolina State University. She then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine – PA Studies to complete her graduate degree. She always knew her passion was working in psychiatry because she wants to overcome the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage those struggling to seek guidance from a professional. Having a mental health diagnosis is no different than any other chronic medical condition such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, etc..
